02 / Why FiberOps

Built for Mission-Critical Work

Multiple field crews. Fiber work through project closeout. The experience and field capacity to support serious fiber projects.

Field Capacity

Multiple Crews — Ready to Deploy

We run multiple field crews simultaneously. From a single maintenance window to a full-scale site mobilization, we have the manpower to match the scope.

Project Scope

Survey Through Closeout

One crew, one point of contact — from first walkthrough and scope documentation through project closeout. As-built submission is provided when included in the approved scope.

Splicing

Mass Fusion for High-Count Projects

High-count ribbon splicing scaled to the approved fiber count — from enterprise buildouts to hyperscale data center backbone.

Testing Standard

EXFO-Certified Testing

Bi-directional EXFO OTDR, optical power meter, and end-face inspection are available when testing is included in the approved scope. Test methods and acceptance criteria are confirmed during quoting.

Documentation

Closeout-Ready Records

As-built packages — .sor trace files, per-fiber splice records, panel schedules, and field photos — are provided when included in the approved scope. Documentation packages are confirmed during quoting.

Network Types

OSP, Data Center & Enterprise

Carrier outside plant, hyperscale and enterprise data centers, commercial buildings, and campuses — network environments we regularly serve.

03 / Process

How We Deliver Projects

Depending on the approved scope, our involvement may include field review, planning coordination, installation, splicing, testing, and project closeout — confirmed in the approved quote or scope of work.

Field Review & Planning

When included in the approved scope, field review may document pathways, fiber counts, panel types, enclosure locations, materials, and placement requirements needed for mobilization.

→ Scope Confirmed

Mobilize

Required locates, permits, materials, building access, and maintenance windows are confirmed based on the approved scope and assigned project responsibilities before mobilization.

→ Mobilization Ready

Place, Prep & Splice

Cable placed to scope — aerial lash, conduit pull, or inside-plant run. Ribbon fibers prepped for mass fusion. Trays loaded, enclosures sealed and labeled, panels dressed and labeled.

→ Fiber Installed

Test & Verify

When testing is included in the approved scope: bi-directional EXFO OTDR, splice-loss verification against spec, optical power meter insertion-loss confirmation, and end-face inspection before connector mating.

→ Verified as Scoped

Closeout

As-built submissions — .sor trace files, splice records with per-fiber loss values, panel schedules, and field photos — are provided when included in the approved scope.

→ Closeout as Scoped
04 / Testing & Records

Quality Verified to Spec

OTDR testing, optical power measurement, end-face inspection, and closeout documentation are available when required by the project scope. Testing methods, fiber counts, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are confirmed during quoting.

01

EXFO OTDR Testing

Single-mode and multimode, bi-directional traces provided per the approved test plan. Event tables with splice loss verification against spec.

02

Optical Power Meter

Insertion loss and link verification per the approved test plan. Power budget confirmation when included in scope.

03

End-Face Inspection

Connector inspection and cleaning are available when included in the approved scope and performed before mating where required.

04

Closeout Records

.sor trace files, splice records with per-fiber loss values, as-builts, and panel schedules provided when included in the approved scope.

05

Panel Labeling

Consistent labeling schemes across panels and splice enclosures, with documented panel schedules provided when included in the approved scope.

06

Field Reporting

Site photos, daily logs, and completion summaries. Full project documentation available when your project requires it.
